Leveltop Crack Suppression Mat (CSM)

Leveltop Crack Suppression Mat (CSM) is a reinforcement product used in conjunction with Leveltop Underlayments and AcoustiMat Sound Control Mats for crack suppression and to reduce the pour depth of underlayment.
Conditions such as potential movement of the subfloor - which could cause underlayments or hard surface flooring to crack - have typically been managed by installing metal lath prior to the underlayment pour. However, as lath is difficult to install and its cost has been rising rapidly, Leveltop CSM presents a more effective solution.

Leveltop CSM consists of a core of fused, entangled polymeric filaments bonded to a geotextile fabric on one side. This product provides a cost-effective alternative to metal lath for crack supression and can also be used to reduce the depth of underlayment or topping over a sound control mat. Comprising strong fibers with 40% recycled material, Leveltop CSM offers excellent reinforcement for a variety of floor systems. Additionally, as an eco-friendly building material, it can help contribute points towards LEED certification.
