New warehouse facility was constructed in year 2017. For dust free and heavy duty operation, client wanted to have flooring solution on cementitious surface. Floorscreed EP(L), two component self leveling epoxy flooring with special colour was chosen as a solution.
For their manufacturing facility at Bhiwandi, Dist. Thane, cementitous flooring was constructed with additives Fibrecon Mono and Floorhard FerroStrong. The flooring further required chemical and solvent resistant along with good abrasion resistant properties. Floorscreed EP(L) was chosen to satisfy required specification.
Dock yards normally are have high voltage cable control rooms. For the safety of the operators, all floors should be coated with high performance electric insulation coating to avoid any sock to human being. The present dock yard control floor was coating with Electrogard ELI-3300, which has breakdown voltage rating of more than 40 KV.
For the safety of operators, each control panel rooms shall be protected from electrical socks. Electrogard ESI was needed to achieve the foolproof protection from such electrical socks to operators.
The client was constructing new bungalow, spread on 2400 ft2 plot. There was a need of innovative, classic and rustic design of the floor. Microtop was choosen to give uniqueness to the floor. The floor was desinged as a carpet look, with combination of Stencil and Staincrete.
The project was completed in year 2008.
Electroscreed is a self leveling dielectric insulation coating. It has been applied in 1.5 mm thickness, after surface preparation and priming. Aqua blue colour was chosen to give aesthetic look and performance together.
The project has control panel rooms running to more than 1,00,000 sq metre to be protected with shockproof flooring. Being one of selcted refinery in India, Electrogard satisfies all requirement needed in the project.
